Job Description:

ü Ignite Creative Expression: Deliver engaging, energetic, and thought-provoking drama lessons that encourage students to explore character, narrative, and performance techniques.

ü Direct and Inspire: Lead school productions, workshops, and extra-curricular drama clubs that showcase student talent and foster a love for the stage.

ü Foster Ensemble Spirit: Promote teamwork, empathy, and self-expression through collaborative rehearsal and devised theatre work.

ü Champion the Curriculum: Plan and assess in line with the KS3–KS5 Drama curriculum, ensuring progression and achievement for all learners.

ü Create a Safe Space: Build a classroom culture where students feel confident to take creative risks and express themselves freely.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

ü Have experience teaching Drama at secondary level, includingGCSEand/orA-Level(desirable).

ü Be aconfident director and facilitator, with aflair for bringing scripts and devised pieces to life.

ü Demonstrateexcellent classroom managementand apassion for inclusive, student-centred learning.

ü Be committed tosafeguarding and child welfare, holding acurrent DBS check(or willing to obtain one).

ü Beimaginative,collaborative, andenthusiastic about the transformative power of theatre.
