Job summary

Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is offering a 0.5 WTE Clinical Psychologist post in its Eating Disorders Service, based in the Wirral and West Cheshire area. The role is at Upton Lea, Bowmere Hospital, Chester, providing high-quality assessment and therapy for Eating Disorders.

The successful candidate will supervise trainees and staff, work autonomously within service policies, and contribute to service development and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology, or equivalent for earlier training.
• HCPC registration (HPC Registered).
• Additional psychotherapy qualification relevant to working with complex psychological and mental health difficulties.

Responsibilities

• Providing psychological leadership within the team.
• Delivering clinical supervision to practitioners.
• Delivering assessment and treatment of clients with Eating Disorders.
• Facilitating team discussions and formulating client cases.
• Participating in quality improvement measures in regard to psychological interventions.
• Completing appropriate documentation and processes to facilitate ED treatment pathways
