Job Description:

£12.00 per hour

Ark supports people in East Lothian, including Haddington, Tranent, and Musselburgh.

Tranent supports 4 individuals, with no sleepover shifts, and has good bus links to other villages.

Musselburgh supports 6 people in flats, including sleepover shifts from 3pm to 3pm, with good bus links to Edinburgh.

Haddington supports 8 people, including 24-hour support, with good bus links to Edinburgh and neighboring villages.

Our team: We have a supportive team of Support Workers who enjoy outdoor activities, gardening, and engaging with supported individuals.

Your main duties include:

1. Supporting vulnerable individuals as part of a team.
2. Providing personalized care, maintaining positive relationships.
3. Supporting individuals in activities, offering encouragement and feedback.
4. As a Relief Support Worker, you will perform the same duties as our Support Workers but on a flexible, as-needed basis, without contracted hours.

Note: Relief work is on an as-and-when basis; regular or continued shifts are not guaranteed.
