Job Title: Mental Health – Adult Social Worker

What will your responsibilities be?
As a Mental Health – Adult Social Worker, you will conduct client assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, provide counseling, and offer crisis intervention. You’ll collaborate with healthcare professionals, advocate for clients, and connect them with community resources. Additionally, you’ll educate clients and their families on coping strategies, maintain accurate records, and stay updated on mental health advancements.
Qualifications and Experiences:
To qualify for the role of a Mental Health – Adult Social Worker, you need a degree in Social Work or a related field, registration with Social Work England, and post-qualified experience in mental health settings. Strong crisis intervention skills, knowledge of local mental health resources, and excellent communication abilities are essential. Experience with electronic health records and specialized training in mental health counseling are also beneficial.
