Job summary

Forward Trust in East Kent is seeking an experienced Housing Support Team Leader to lead and develop the East Kent Housing Support team, manage caseloads, mentor staff and ensure deadlines, performance targets and quality standards are consistently met.

You will work closely with the Service Manager and external partners to secure stable housing for clients with complex needs, including homelessness and substance misuse, across multiple sites in East Kent.

Qualifications

• A qualification in management or relevant management experience.
• Accreditation, qualification or relevant experience in homelessness, substance misuse, health, social care or a related field.
• A housing qualification, or a willingness to work towards one.
• Experience of supporting people with complex needs and/or experience within housing or support services.

Responsibilities

• Allocate caseloads and manage a small number of complex cases.
• Support and develop the team, ensuring deadlines, performance targets and quality standards are met.
• Contribute to service performance targets and data quality with the Service Manager.
• Deputise for the Service Manager and act as the most senior representative on site when required.
