Job summary

RTL Group Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Earthworks Supervisor to join a major highway infrastructure scheme. You will oversee day-to-day earthworks and groundworks, manage site teams and subcontractors, and ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme.

The ideal candidate holds a Gold CSCS card, SMSTS or SSSTS, and a First Aid qualification, with proven ability to read drawings, specifications and RAMS.

Qualifications

• Experience as Earthworks Supervisor or similar.
• Strong earthworks and civil experience on highways or infrastructure.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications and RAMS.
• Experience managing site teams and subcontractors.
• Gold CSCS is required; SMSTS or SSSTS; First Aid qualification.

• Promote a strong health, safety, environmental, and quality culture.
• Complete site records, inspections, briefings, and toolbox talks.

• Strong experience in earthworks and civil engineering projects, ideally on highway or infrastructure schemes.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, and RAMS.
• Experience managing site teams and subcontractors.
• Good understanding of health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
• Gold CSCS required.
• SMSTS or SSSTS required.
• First Aid qualification required.
• Previous experience working on highway schemes is highly desirable.
• NRSWA, Temporary Works, or other relevant highway qualifications would be advantageous.
