Job summary
PSC Consulting seeks a Consultant Engineer (Earthing & Lightning Protection) in South Wales/South West England with 2–5 years’ experience to join our specialist energy team. You will work on critical energy infrastructure projects across the UK, combining office-based design with field activities.
You will further develop expertise in advanced earthing studies, soil resistivity testing, and electrical safety assessments while collaborating with experienced engineers and clients to deliver robust
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in earthing and lightning protection
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- Experience with power transmission and renewable energy projects
- Willingness to travel for site work
Responsibilities
- Conduct earthing studies for electrical infrastructure projects
- Design and analyze earthing systems
- Perform site investigations and soil resistivity testing
- Carry out electrical safety assessments and client deliverables
- Prepare technical reports and liaise with clients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across projects
- Develop practical engineering solutions with clients
