Job summary

I & F Limited (T/A Skills4Group) is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. You will support day-to-day pharmacy operations, help customers at the counter and assist with prescriptions under supervision, while training towards the Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.

The role combines paid work with study over about 15 months, delivering hands-on learning, stock management, and customer service in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• This role requires an interest in healthcare and helping customers.
• Completion of initial Maths/English tests may be required to determine suitability.
• On-programme training leading to a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Support customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain cleanliness, health and safety and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
