City College Norwich is seeking a passionate Trainer Assessor to support learners on the T Level in Education and Early Years and NCFE Level 2 programmes. You will assess competence in workplace and training settings, plan observations, and provide constructive feedback to help learners progress.

You will build portfolios, liaise with tutors and employers, and ensure safeguarding and inclusion standards are met while maintaining accurate records of progress.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with learners and employers.
• Ability to assess learners in practice, including observations and evidence-based assessment.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workload independently.

Responsabilités

• Assess learners' competence against standards in workplace and training environments.
• Plan and carry out observations, professional discussions, and reviews to evidence learner progress.
• Provide clear, constructive feedback to support learner development and achievement.
• Support learners to build portfolios of evidence and meet qualification criteria.
• Liaise with tutors, employers, and work placement teams to monitor progress.
• Develop relationships with employers to identify meaningful assessment opportunities.
• Ensure safeguarding, equality and inclusion principles are followed.
• Maintain accurate assessment and progress records.
