Job summary

GSL Education in Rochdale invites caring and motivated individuals to join a friendly early childhood setting. The role offers fixed hours, DBS check requirements, and a pathway from entry-level to Level 2/3+ practitioners.

You will guide children through play, ensure safety and hygiene, and support development in a welcoming team. DBS clearance is preferred or able to be completed prior to start.

Qualifications

• No qualifications needed — entry-level welcome, plus Level 2/3+ practitioners.
• Enthusiastic, compassionate and dependable individuals.

• Successful applicants must undergo (or hold) an Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Guide children through daily play-based activities, storytelling and creative games.
• Maintain high standards of safety, hygiene and supervision throughout the day.
• Encourage positive social interaction, independence and confidence in early learners.
• Collaborate with colleagues to track child development and communicate progress to parents.
