Early Years Teaching Assistant

**Are you an Early Years Teaching Assistant looking for a new role?**

**Do you want to work as part of a committed team of Teachers and TA’s?**

**Are you looking for a long term, full-time position starting in September?**

An inspiring, creative Primary School in Penarth is looking for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their nursery class on a long term basis ASAP.

This will be a full time role working within the Nursery Class.

Working hours will be 8:30 – 15:30, Monday - Friday, Term time only.

This school has a strong emphasis on learning through play, with a view to working collectively to deliver a well rounded education, whilst encouraging imagination and independence.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree (2:2 or above) in Early Childhood Studies or a Level 3 qualification in Childcare a strong academic record and experience working with Early Years Children for a minimum of 3 months.

Criteria

* Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Studies – desirable

* Successful track record of improving pupils performance
* Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
* Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police check
