Early Years Teaching Assistant (Level 3)

• September 2025 start date (or sooner)
• Primary School Nursery setting
• Hours: 8:30 - 3:30
• Contract: Monday - Friday (Term-time only)

NextGen Teachers are looking for a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant for a full-time school contract starting in September 2025 (or sooner). This is a large Primary school with over 700+ pupils on role and the school are looking for passionate and qualified Teaching Assistants to support in the school Nursery with children aged between 2-4 years.

In order to be shortlisted for this role candidates MUST have a Level 3 Qualification (NVQ or CACHE) in Childcare or Early Years.

The Role:
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will support learning in the classroom, work with small groups and individual pupils, and contribute to the wider life of the school. You may also be asked to lead interventions and occasionally cover lessons under teacher guidance.

Requirements:

• A Childcare Level 3 qualification
• Experience working in a primary school or similar setting
• A caring, positive, and flexible attitude
• Confidence supporting learning and behaviour in a classroom environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• The right to work in the UK
