Job summary

Cheetham CofE Community Academy in Manchester is seeking a TA 2 for the Nursery Team on a fixed-term basis from September 2026 to 31 August 2027. The role supports early years development through play and structured learning under experienced staff.

The ideal candidate will be Urdu-speaking, enthusiastic, and committed to high standards of learning and care, aiding in safeguarding and language development while collaborating with staff and parents during term-time hours 8:30–15:30.

Qualifications

We are looking to appoint a TA 2 on a fixed term basis of one year between September 2026 and 31st August 2027, to join our dedicated Nursery Team. Our amazing early years department has spacious excellent learning environments both indoors and outdoors. We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual who is committed to high standards of learning and care. The ideal candidate will be someone who can support learning through play alongside all aspects of children’s early development. Please note Urdu speaking is an essential requirement for this role. The hours are 8.30-3.30pm, term time only.
