Job summary

Aspire People Limited is seeking an Early Years Teaching Assistant to support Reception and Nursery in Manchester and surrounding areas. Roles include full-time or part-time placements across primary schools, with play-based learning, phonics support, and development of numeracy and communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have Early Years experience, a Level 2/3 qualification (desirable), and a patient, nurturing approach.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in an Early Years, Nursery, or Reception setting.
  • Level 2/3 qualification is desirable.
  • Solid understanding of early childhood development.
  • Patient, creative and nurturing approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Confident supporting young children with different needs.
  • A genuine passion for helping children learn through play.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting children through play-based learning activities.
  • Assisting with early phonics, communication, and numeracy development.
  • Supporting pupils with routines, transitions, and personal development.
  • Helping children develop social and emotional skills.

The Role May Include:
