Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. are supporting a welcoming primary school in the LA3 area to recruit an Early Years Teaching Assistant from January 2027.

The school offers a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning. In EYFS, you will support the class teacher with whole-class, small-group and 1:1 activities, delivering engaging play-based learning and structured tasks that promote key skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in an EYFS, Nursery or Reception setting.
• Ability to support learning through play-based activities.
• Strong communication with staff and families.

Responsibilities

• Support children within an EYFS classroom on 1:1, small group and whole-class basis.
• Assist with delivery of engaging and interactive learning activities.
• Encourage social, emotional and educational development.
• Help maintain a safe, positive and stimulating learning environment.

Teaching Personnel are working with a welcoming primary school in the LA3 area who are seeking a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their team from January 2027. As part of the Early Years team, you will support the class teacher in delivering creative and engaging learning opportunities, helping children to develop key skills through play-based learning and structured activities.

The Role:

• Support children within an EYFS classroom on a whole-class, small-group, and 1:1 basis.
• Assist with the delivery of engaging and interactive learning activities.
• Encourage children's social, emotional, and educational development.
• Help maintain a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Work closely with teachers and parents to support pupil progress.

• Have previous experience working in an EYFS, Nursery, or Reception setting.
• Be passionate about supporting young children's development.
