We are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled, and reliable teaching assistant to work across our Early Years phase. The role involves supporting the development of children in their learning, personal care, and social skills. You will work under the direction of the Early Years leader and teachers to support the delivery of the Early Years curriculum, sharing responsibility for raising standards and equipping children with skills and dispositions for success. The successful candidate will initially be deployed in Pre-school, but this may be flexible, and you could work in both settings over time.
Experience in an Early Years setting is highly desirable. It is also crucial that you can build successful relationships with pupils, respond flexibly to their needs, and learn quickly. A good standard of English is required.
Our pupils and staff will welcome you into our team of reflective professionals. We seek someone who aligns with our ethos – this is more than just a job. If you find the challenges and rewards of this environment appealing, we would love to hear from you.
This is a term-time role, for 38 weeks a year, working from 8.45 am to 3.15 pm. Additional staff development days will be scheduled as needed.
The School and its personnel are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. During the interview, your motivation for working with children will be explored, along with aspects from your application. The selection process may include activities with pupils. Appointment is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure via the Disclosure and Barring Service, references, and online checks.
