Job summary

Aspire People is seeking an Early Years Teaching Assistant (Level 2 or Level 3) to join a Stockport primary setting on a full-time basis from September 2026. You will support children in Nursery or Reception, helping play-based learning and social development under the guidance of the class teacher.

Ideal candidates will have Level 2/3 EYFS qualification, EYFS experience, and strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children and families.

The Role

Working within Nursery or Reception, you'll support children's learning through play, encourage their social and emotional development and help create a positive, stimulating classroom environment where every child can thrive.

Qualifications

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (or equivalent).
• Experience supporting children within an EYFS setting through employment or placements.
• A good understanding of the EYFS Framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
