Job summary

Busy Bees Nurseries in Rugby is seeking an Early Years Teacher to develop educational content, mentor staff, and uphold excellence across our centres. You’ll lead planning and observation for key children, working within the EYFS framework to drive development and family engagement.

The role requires QTS/EYTS/EYPS and extensive EY experience, with opportunities for leadership, professional growth, and involvement in our Bee Curious curriculum across an Ofsted Outstanding setting in Rugby.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in an early years setting.
• Leadership and mentoring skills.
• Experience as Nursery Teacher or Early Years Teacher is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery with your expert knowledge of the EYFS framework for age-appropriate activities.
• Take ownership of the observation, assessments and planning for your key children in line with EYFS and provide developmentally challenging next steps.
• Mentor and guide team members, contributing to curriculum development.
• Take on the role of Key Person, maintaining relationships with families and support parents with SEND/ASL needs.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive environment that supports children's emotional and social development.
• Encourage and praise children's development and achievements.
