Job summary

Busy Bees Charlton is seeking an Early Years Teacher to deliver high-quality EYFS activity planning, assessment, and hands-on guidance for a team of staff. You will act as Key Person, support families, and promote a safe, inclusive environment for under-fives.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery with expert EYFS knowledge.
• Observe, assess and plan for key children with next-step targets.
• Mentor and guide team members and contribute to curriculum development.

About our Nursery

Busy Bees Charlton, rated Good by Ofsted, accommodates 95 children and provides spacious play areas for each age group, designed to create a homely feel while offering separate areas for rest, play, and mealtimes. We ensure that each child's individual needs are met while they enjoy fun activities and resources in a safe environment tailored for under-fives. Role Responsibilities:

What to expect as an Early Years Teacher

• Lead the planning and delivery with your expert knowledge of the EYFS framework.of age-appropriate activities in line with the early years curriculum.
• Take ownership of the observation, assessments and planning for your key children in line with EYFS and provide developmentally challenging next steps.
• Mentor and guide team members, contributing to curriculum development.
• Take on the role of Key Person, maintaining b relationships with familie and support parents with any SEND/ASL needs.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive environment that supports children’s emotional and social development.
• Ensure we encourage and praise children’s development and achievements.

Required Qualifications: Ideal Candidate

• Hold QTS, EYTS or EYPS qualification.
• Extensive experience in an early years setting (ideally as a Nursery Teacher or Early Years Teacher).
• Leadership and mentoring skills.
