Job summary

Bright Horizons Crouch End Day Nursery and Preschool in London is seeking an Early Years Teacher to plan and deliver engaging learning and care, meeting each child’s needs. You will assess development and ensure environments are stimulating, both indoors and outdoors.

You will work with colleagues and parents to support growth; a QTS or equivalent qualification is required, and a passion for child-centered education is essential.

  • Hold QTS/EYTS/EYPS or Level 6 Early Years Qualification.
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • Solid understanding of the EYFS.
  • Strong safeguarding and child protection knowledge.

Salary & Location

Nursery – Bright Horizons Crouch End Day Nursery and Preschool
Salary – Starting from £33,467.20 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)
Location – Crouch End, London

The Role

As an Early Years Teacher, you will plan and deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps all the children to develop and meet their individual needs. You will make accurate and effective assessments, which reflect the needs, interests, and stages of each child, and ensure the indoor and outdoor environments are consistently stimulating and inspiring for the children.

What we’re looking for
  • Hold either Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), Early Years Practitioner Status (EYPS), or a full and relevant Level 6 Early Years Qualification
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
  • Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  • Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both colleagues and parents
