Job summary

Bright Horizons Forest Park Bracknell Nursery and Preschool is seeking an Early Years Teacher to plan and deliver rich learning opportunities and provide high-quality care that supports every child's development. You will assess progress, maintain stimulating indoor and outdoor environments, and work in partnership with colleagues and parents to meet each child's needs.

QTS/EYTS/EYPS or Level 6 Early Years qualification preferred, and strong EYFS safeguarding knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status or EYTS/EYPS or Level 6 Early Years qualification required.
• Strong EYFS knowledge and safeguarding understanding.
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and parents.
• Demonstrates inclusive practice and commitment to learning through play.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver rich learning opportunities across indoor and outdoor environments.
• Make accurate assessments reflecting each child’s needs and progress.
• Build strong partnerships with parents and colleagues to support development.
• Ensure safeguarding and welfare of children in line with EYFS requirements.

Job description

As an Early Years Teacher, you will plan and deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps all the children to develop and meet their individual needs. You will make accurate and effective assessments, which reflect the needs, interests, and stages of each child, and ensure the indoor and outdoor environments are consistently stimulating and inspiring for the children.

Hold either Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), Early Years Practitioner Status (EYPS), or a full and relevant Level 6 Early Years Qualification Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both colleagues and parents We are an inclusive employer and welcome people from all ages and backgrounds to apply.
