Woodfield Nursery School, part of Lancashire County Council, seeks a part-time Teaching Assistant Level 3 to support two classrooms for children aged 2 to 4. Based in Brierfield, the role starts January 2027 in the Pre School class, with a pro-rata salary for term-time only hours.

Visits are welcome via the School Office. You will join a dedicated team focusing on safeguarding, child development, and individual needs, with DBS disclosure required and an emphasis on collaboration with families

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children under 5
• Experience in Early Years setting
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Knowledge of child development and ability to assess progress

Responsabilités

• Support 3 and 4-year-olds in the Pre School class
• Assist qualified staff and teaching assistants in daily routines
• Provide help with planned activities and learning experiences
