Alderman Bolton Primary Academy in Warrington is seeking a Level 2 Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team. The role is 32.5 hours per week, term-time plus inset days, supporting learning through play-based activities.

You will assist with individual and small-group work across early years, help with observations, safeguarding, and personal care as needed, and contribute to a nurturing environment where children build confidence and curiosity.

Qualificações

• GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above, or equivalent.
• Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Childcare or Early Years (e.g., CACHE/NVQ Level 2).
• Experience of working with young children in an Early Years or primary school.
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• A Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or Supporting Teaching and Learning would be desirable.
• Experience with additional needs or EYFS observations would be desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Support individual children and small groups across learning and development.
• Assist with communication, language, early literacy and numeracy, physical development, independence and social-emotional development.
• Contribute to observations and assessments of children’s learning and development.
• Support positive behaviour and inclusion, and help prepare and organise learning environments.
• May include lunchtime duties, educational visits and after-school club duties.
• Provide personal care assistance where required.
