Job summary

Northwood Primary School is seeking a dedicated L2 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. The role is fixed-term until 31 August 2027, at 32.5 hours per week during term time (46 weeks). The successful candidate will work closely with the Early Years team to provide high-quality support in the classroom.

We require a suitable qualification and a motivated, proactive approach to helping young learners reach their potential; please note start date October 2026 or as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teaching Assistant Level 2 with relevant classroom experience.
• Experience in Early Years support is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the teacher and work with the Early Years team in class activities.
• Assist with pupil supervision and instructional tasks as required.
