Job summary

All Saints Church of England Academy, part of the Diocese of Coventry Multi Academy Trust, seeks a permanent-style teaching assistant for ages 3+. Responsibilities

• Help pupils develop communication skills and role play
• Promote inclusion and acceptance, encouraging pupils to interact, co-operate and take part in activities
• Promote independence and self-esteem
• Assist with lesson and activity planning, delivery and evaluation
• Monitor individual and group achievement of key objectives and feed back to the teacher
• Contribute to pupil assessment through observation and reporting
• Record information for assessment and review of pupil progress
• Monitor and provide for pupils' general care, safety and welfare, including social inclusion and personal care under plans
