Job summary

Nexter Ltd is seeking an Early Years Specialist (Supply) to support nurseries across South Leeds & Morley. You will lead sensory play, enable outdoor activities for pre-schoolers, and help permanent teams with daily nursery workflows.

Applicants should hold Level 2/3 in Childcare/Early Years. A Full Paediatric First Aid certificate is required; those with other childcare quals but 3+ months nursery experience may be considered as Assistants.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 2 or 3 in Childcare/Early Years (EYE, CACHE, NVQ).
• Health & Social Care or TA qualifications do not meet "Full and Relevant" nursery criteria.
• If you have a different qualification but 3+ months verifiable nursery experience you may be considered as Assistant.
• All staff counted in ratios must hold a Full Paediatric First Aid (PFA) certificate.

Responsibilities

• Lead sensory play in the baby room and facilitate outdoor adventures for pre-schoolers.
• Support permanent teams with the daily flow of nursery life.
• Be nursery-ready from the moment you walk in with a proactive attitude and love for child development.
