Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking an Early Years Specialist to support a nursery in Dudley during term time, from 7:30 to 14:00. The role caters to EYFS needs, including ASD-friendly approaches and LEGO/play-based learning, with a focus on early years development.

Candidates should hold Level 3 in Early Years, Paediatric First Aid, and ideally Level 4 or higher qualifications. DBS clearance or willingness to obtain it is required, with experience in SEN seen as advantageous.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 in Early Years or equivalent.
• Paediatric First Aid certification is required.
• DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one.
• Experience with ASD and SEN is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support nursery operations from 7:30 to 14:00 during term time.
• Assist EYFS activities and SEN needs within the setting.
• Engage children through play-based learning and therapy-like activities.
• Collaborate with staff to support nursery expansion.

Early Years Specialist - Dudley

Prospero Teaching is seeking EYFS specialists for term time only work 7.30- 14.00

Where: Dudley

Who: Level 3 Early Years Specialist

When: October 12th (possibly sooner)

Why: With Nursery expansions, a nursery school requires additional support from 7.30- 14.00

Pay: 97.05 per day- 104.21

If you hold a valid DBS (or willing to obtain one); Paediatric First Aid; Level 3 in Early Years we would love to hear from you. The Nursery has some undiagnosed SEN needs so experience with ASD would be desirable. But if you have any Lego therapy, play-dough therapy, learning through song or learning through play experience, please do enquire with your CV today!

This extensive setting is seeking additional support staff for their growing Nursery, in spite of a low birth rate they are thriving due to outstanding OfSted, therefore someone with strong Early Years training is highly desirable.
