Staffordshire County Council is seeking an experienced Early Years Senior Consultant (Improvement) to strengthen curriculum design and assessment across the Early Years Foundation Stage, with a particular focus on Reception. You will work with settings, schools and partners to drive improvement and ensure every child has the best possible start in life.
You will lead targeted development activities, analyse EYFS data to identify priorities, and promote inclusive practice across Staffordshire.

We are looking for an experienced Teacher and inspiring professional to join our Early Years Team as an Early Years Senior Consultant (Improvement) as we strive to improve outcomes for children and increase Staffordshire's Good Level of Development to 78.9% by 2028.

Based from Staffordshire Place One, working across the County, you will play a key role in supporting settings, schools and partners to improve practice, improve outcomes and ensure every child has the best possible start in life.
This role is fixed-term for 2 years.For information, please note that there is currently an ongoing review within Children and Families to realign individual teams and the wider team's ways of working.
