Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting an Early Years SEND Teaching Assistant for a welcoming 3-form entry primary school in Tower Hamlets. The role is full-time with a September start, supporting pupils with SEND within the Early Years setting to promote social, emotional and academic development.

You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO, delivering 1:1 and small group interventions, and helping create an inclusive, engaging classroom environment while building strong relationships with

Qualifications

• Has previous experience working within Early Years or a primary school setting.
• Has experience supporting children with SEND, including Autism, speech and language needs or developmental delays.
• Is patient, caring and passionate about helping children reach their full potential.
• Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Can remain calm, positive and proactive in a busy classroom environment.
• Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or is willing to obtain one.

The Role

As an Early Years SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
