Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Early Years SEND Teaching Assistant to support a child within Nursery or Reception in a Wigan primary setting. The role includes 1:1 and small-group support, helping learning, routines, and transitions, and close collaboration with the teacher and SENCO.

Early Years SEND Teaching Assistant - Wigan

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a Wigan primary school who are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide additional support within their Early Years provision.

The role will involve supporting a child with additional needs, helping them access learning and develop their confidence and independence.

The role:

• Supporting a child within Nursery or Reception
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support
• Supporting communication, interaction and learning
• Helping with routines and transitions
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
• Encouraging independence and positive relationships
