Job summary

Teaching Vacancies is seeking a dedicated teaching assistant to support children in a mainstream classroom. You will work closely with class teachers, the SENCo and parents to deliver individualised support to children with learning difficulties.

The role requires recent experience with children, a Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or Nursery Practice, strong literacy and numeracy, and the ability to use ICT to enhance learning.

Qualifications

• Must have a Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or Nursery Practice.
• Experience working with children in a mainstream setting.
• Experience with children with a range of SEN and disabilities.
• Strong literacy and mathematics proficiency.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to use ICT effectively to support learning.
• Calm, supportive and caring manner.
