Job summary

Flow Recruitment Ltd is assisting a dedicated nursery to recruit a Nursery Room Leader. You will manage the day-to-day operations of a designated room, support staff development and ensure a safe, engaging environment for children. The role requires NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and includes DBS clearance.

The successful candidate will foster growth, lead learning experiences and uphold high standards of care in a warm setting.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
• Good understanding of a child’s developmental requirements.
• Experience training and developing childcare staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of an allocated nursery room.
• Ensure children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment.
• Provide a range of stimulating learning experiences designed to meet children's development.
• Undertake an enhanced DBS check as required.

Nursery Room Leader

A qualified nursery room leader responsible for the day to day running of an allocated area or room within the nursery. You must be NVQ level 3 qualified or equivalent. An important role in training and developing staff by imparting knowledge and skills. You will be required to ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment. You will also need to have a sound understanding of a child’s developmental requirements and to provide a range of stimulating learning experiences designed to meet children’s all round development. Successful Nursery Room Leader will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
