Job summary

Flow Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Nursery Room Leader to manage a designated room in a nursery. The successful candidate will be NVQ level 3 qualified or equivalent and will lead staff in delivering a safe, happy and stimulating environment for children.

The role emphasises staff development, planing age-appropriate activities and upholding high standards of care, with enhanced DBS checks required as part of safeguarding.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 or equivalent required.
• Experience in training and developing staff.
• Ability to provide stimulating learning experiences and ensure safe, happy environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of an allocated room or area.
• Ensure quality care, safety, and stimulating development opportunities for children.
• Plan and deliver a range of age-appropriate activities.
• Support and develop junior staff through training and mentoring.

Our client is looking to recruit a Nursery Room Leader.

Nursery Room Leader

A qualified nursery room leader responsible for the day to day running of an allocated area or room within the nursery. You must be NVQ level 3 qualified or equivalent. An important role in training and developing staff by imparting knowledge and skills. You will be required to ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment. You will also need to have a sound understanding of a child’s developmental requirements and to provide a range of stimulating learning experiences designed to meet children’s all round development. Successful Nursery Room Leader will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
