Job summary

Hopscotch Day Nurseries Ltd. is seeking an experienced Early Years Quality Lead to raise teaching and care standards across the nursery. You will coach, mentor and model outstanding practice for teams and work flexibly across rooms to support inclusion and child development.

The role focuses on safeguarding, staff development and delivering high-quality learning experiences, with a full-time schedule (32.5 hours/week, 09:00–16:00, 52 weeks/year) in Curdridge on the outskirts of Botley.

Qualifications

• A minimum Level 3 Early Years Qualification.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child development and team development.
• Ability to mentor and coach staff in line with Hopscotch policies.
• Welcoming approach to induction and staff development.
• Ensure environments enable children to thrive and progress.
• Support practitioners to provide engaging, inclusive, developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
• Model outstanding interactions with children.
• Identify gaps in knowledge and plan next steps with staff and management.

Responsibilities

• Support ratio requirements and cover lunch/breaks as needed.
