Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust in Tunbridge Wells is seeking a Public Health Assistant to support Health Visitors and the Tunbridge Wells Health Visiting Team, covering Ashford, Paddock Wood and Cranbrook.

The post contributes to the Healthy Child Programme, delivering clinics from children's centres and community venues, and providing families with guidance on child development, nutrition, immunisations and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• QCF Level 3 or equivalent in healthcare or related field.
• Functional Skills Level 2 English and Maths or GCSE equivalent.
• Recent experience of child development through education or work.
• Full UK driving licence (or EU equivalent).
• Care Certificate, or plan to achieve within 3 months.

Responsabilités

• Drive to perform duties where required and support community visits.
• Deliver health promotion and guidance to families to improve wellbeing.
• Support delivery of Healthy Child Clinics and universal reviews.
