Job summary

Thrive Education is seeking enthusiastic Early Years Assistants to support nurseries and pre-schools across Stroud, Dursley and the surrounding areas in Gloucestershire. You’ll work flexibly across supply, part-time or full-time roles and play a vital role in supporting children's learning through play and daily activities.

No childcare qualification is required to apply; we welcome candidates with experience working with children, a nurturing personality and a can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in nurseries, schools, clubs or childcare settings.
• A positive, enthusiastic and nurturing personality is important.
• Reliability and willingness to get involved in activities with children.
• Good communication and teamwork skills are valued.
• An enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.

Thrive Education is looking for enthusiastic, caring and reliable individuals to join our Early Years team, supporting some fantastic nurseries and pre-schools across Stroud, Dursley and the surrounding areas.

You don't need a childcare qualification to apply!

We're looking for people who have experience working with children and a genuine passion for helping little ones learn, grow and develop.

Whether your experience comes from working in nurseries, schools, after-school clubs, holiday camps, sports coaching or other childcare environments, we'd love to hear from you!

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience working with children.
• A positive, enthusiastic and nurturing personality.
• Confidence supporting children through play and everyday activities.
• Reliability and a willingness to get stuck in!
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• An enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.

Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualifications are welcome but NOT essential.
