Job summary

Thrive Education is seeking enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners to support nurseries and pre-schools in Cheltenham. No formal Level 2/3 qualification is required, just experience with children and a caring, proactive approach.

Roles offer flexible, term-time and long-term opportunities with a focus on gaining diverse Early Years experience. You’ll work across Cheltenham settings, with support from Thrive Education’s consultant team.

Early Years Practitioners – Cheltenham

£14.24 per hour

Thrive Education is looking for enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners to support some of the fantastic nurseries and pre-schools we work with across Cheltenham.

You don't need to hold a Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification for this role.

What we are looking for is people who already have experience working with children, whether that's within a nursery, school, after-school club, holiday club, SEN setting or another child-focused environment.

If you enjoy working with children and would like the opportunity to gain more experience within Early Years, this could be a great next step.

What we're looking for

• Previous experience working with children
• Nursery or pre-school experience would be a bonus, but isn't essential
• A genuine interest in working within Early Years
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
• Confidence getting involved with activities and play
• Good communication and teamwork
• Someone reliable who is happy to get stuck in and support wherever needed

Your previous experience could include:

• Nurseries or pre-schools
• Primary schools
• Teaching Assistant work
