Job summary

Step Teachers in Enfield is recruiting Early Years Practitioners for flexible short-term and long-term roles across local nurseries. You will support children's learning through play, assist with EYFS planning, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

The ideal candidate will have Level 2/3 in Childcare, experience in early years, an understanding of EYFS, and an Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one). PAYE weekly pay and wellbeing benefits are available through our service.

Qualifications

• Relevant nursery or early years qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare)
• Proven experience working in nursery or early years settings
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
• A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills as Early Years Practitioners.
• A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures

Responsibilities

Early Years Practitioner Responsibilities
