Job summary

Aspire People are seeking Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join welcoming private day nurseries in and around Sutton Coldfield. Roles offer flexibility with full-time or part-time opportunities to suit your availability while contributing to children’s learning and development.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you’ll provide high-quality care and support to children aged 0-5, within a safe, nurturing environment and as part of a dedicated Early Years team.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare is essential.
• Experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
• Genuine passion for working with young children.
• Caring, patient, and positive approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexible, reliable and proactive attitude.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.

Aspire People are currently working with a number of welcoming private day nurseries in and around Sutton Coldfield who are looking for enthusiastic, caring, and dedicated Level 2 and Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join their teams.

With both full-time and part-time opportunities available, this is an excellent opportunity for Early Years professionals looking for their next role in a private day nursery, with the flexibility to find work that suits their availability while making a real difference to children's learning and development.

The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care, education, and support to children aged 0-5 years within a private day nursery setting.

You will work as part of a dedicated team to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children feel secure, supported, and encouraged to learn and develop.

Key Responsibilities

• Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing in line with the EYFS framework.
• Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5.
• Plan and support engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play.
• Promote children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Recognise and support each child's individual needs, interests, and abilities.
• Encourage children's confidence, independence, communication, and social skills.
• Build positive and professional relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues.
• Work effectively as part of a supportive Early Years team.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times.

What We're Looking For

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare - essential.
• Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.
