Job summary

The Mere Nature Kindergarten in Mere is hiring a Nursery Assistant on a zero hour contract with flexible hours. You will join a passionate team and provide safe, engaging activities for children aged 3 months to 5 years, indoors and outdoors.

Offered is fully funded training and safeguarding support, with opportunities for career progression within Thrive. Candidates of all levels welcome; DBS checks required and a commitment to children's wellbeing.

Our beautifully designed property is ideal for local families or commuters traveling via the A556 to Manchester or the A50 to Warrington. We are proud holders of the Green Flag Eco School Award, with an active Eco Committee that grows fruit and vegetables in our allotment. Our nursery encourages children to explore nature, discover hidden treasures outdoors, and learn the importance of caring for the environment. As a Nursery Assistant at The Mere, you will join a passionate, skilled team and have the opportunity to inspire children both indoors and outdoors while making a positive impact on their development.
