Job summary

Thrive Childcare and Education is hiring a Nursery Assistant for Culcheth Day Nursery on a zero hours contract with flexible hours. Salary ranges from £12.80 per hour (unqualified) to £13.45 per hour (qualified). The role welcomes both qualified and unqualified applicants returning to early years work.

• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and other professionals to meet individual needs.

As a Nursery Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

• Assist with learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps young children to develop.
• To have an engaging and energetic personality.
• Covering holidays and help provide staff cover whilst gaining on the job experience!
• Provide effective care and learning that enables children to progress and prepare them for school.
• Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children.
• Work in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children.
