Job summary

Children 1st Clowne Nursery School by Storal is seeking a part-time Nursery Practitioner to support safe, caring and inspiring learning at Clowne. You will apply the Storal curriculum and engage in everyday moments that foster curiosity and development.

Ideal candidates hold an Early Years Level 3 qualification and have experience with all age groups within Early Years, with strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with families and staff.

Qualifications

• Early Years qualification at Level 3.
• Experience working with all age groups within Early Years.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, peers and parents.

Nursery: Children 1st Clowne Nursery School by Storal

Address: High Street, Clowne, Chesterfield S43 4JX

Hours: Part Time, Monday - Friday, 2-3 days a week or half days 7.30-1 or 1-6

Salary: Up to £13.30 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience)

Supporting our local community is very important to us. We regularly visit a nearby residential home for dementia patients and actively fundraise for various local charities, nurturing a strong sense of community and belonging in our children.

We love helping our children connect with nature through our wonderful outdoor spaces, which provide a rich learning environment full of opportunities to explore, play, and discover the natural world.

About the role:

As a Nursery Practitioner you will be a key part of keep our children safe, loved and inspired to learn. Key activities include:

• Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily
• Seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions
• Bonding with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments

About you:

• A true love for child development and care
• Able and willing to work in a team
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, your peers and parents
• High levels of care and empathy that every opportunity can be a learning opportunity
• Role modelling remarkable practice with the intent to support others around you [mgnt roles]
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework

Must haves:

• Early Years qualification at Level 3
