Job summary

Bright Horizons Wimbledon Nursery and Preschool is seeking an Early Years Practitioner for lunch cover in the Wimbledon area. You will plan engaging activities tailored to each child, ensuring a safe environment and strong partnerships with families to support child development.

Applicants should hold a full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification, with a passion for inclusive learning and a solid EYFS and safeguarding knowledge.

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging activities tailored to each child to support development toward milestones.
• Create and maintain a safe environment and supervise children.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents/carers to support learning goals.
• Foster a love of learning and positive relationships with children and families.

We are also fortunate to be right next to Merton Park Tram stop. Other Transport links include 3 bus routes which are the 152 to New Malden. 163 from Wimbledon to Morden and lastely the 164 which travels from Wimbledon to Sutton Station, right outside our nursery. There are other routes from Wimbledon that include excellent transport links to Surbiton and Kingston using the 53, 131 and also Putney which has its own 93 bus route from North Cheam to Putney. There are more routes servicing, Tooting, Mitcham, Balham, Clapham, Streatham and Richmond. We do also have a car park for those employees wanting to drive.
