Job summary

Fife Council is seeking an Early Years Practitioner in Pittenweem to promote learning, development and welfare for children in a nursery setting. You will work to promote inclusion and equality, and liaise with families and partners to support positive outcomes.

Applicants must hold a practitioner level qualification and register with SSSC within six months, plus PVG clearance. A supportive team environment is offered with a focus on improving life chances for all children and families.

Qualifications

• You are required to hold one of the practitioner level qualifications (or equivalent).
• You must be registered with SSSC at practitioner level within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Promote children’s learning, development and welfare in a nursery setting.
• Promote inclusion, diversity and equality and communicate with stakeholders.
• Contribute to wider development within the nursery.
