Job summary

Windsor Nursery School is seeking a dedicated early years practitioner to work within our warm, supportive setting in Wolverhampton. You will contribute to a child-centered environment where every child can reach their full potential and develop through play and learning opportunities.

Under supervision, you will provide care, support key person responsibilities, and assist in observation, assessment and planning to meet individual needs. A Level 3 childcare qualification is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Level 3 childcare qualification.
• Paediatric First Aid and safeguarding training is expected.
• Commitment to inclusive practice and safeguarding of children.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, welcoming, nurturing environment that supports children’s learning and development.
• Fulfil key person responsibilities and nurture positive relationships with children.
• Assist in developing learning opportunities and care reflecting each child’s individuality.
• supervise children safely and inclusively, enabling access to learning activities.
• Assist in planning, observation, assessment, and record keeping of children’s progress.
• Support with personal care routines and health and safety practices.
