Job summary

Bright Horizons Lancaster is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to join our Lancaster nursery, rated good by Ofsted. You will plan and deliver engaging activities for each child, fostering development and a love of learning within a safe, supportive environment.

Requirements include Full Level 3+ Early Years qualifications, EYFS knowledge, and safeguarding expertise. This role prioritises inclusion, teamwork with colleagues and communication with parents.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each child to support development toward milestones.
• Create a safe environment enabling children to express themselves, engage their minds and foster a lifelong love of learning.
