Job summary

Bright Horizons Lancaster is hiring an Early Years Practitioner. The role involves planning, delivering and reflecting on age-appropriate activities to support each child’s development in a safe, welcoming setting.

You will work with a strong EYFS framework, ensuring safeguarding and child protection requirements are met while building positive partnerships with families for the children’s continued growth.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.

We’re looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join our Lancaster nursery. This nursery is Ofsted rating "good" and is located in the grounds of the Lancaster Royal Infirmary

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.

What we’re looking for

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers
