Job summary

Bright Horizons Rugby Day Nursery in Rugby, Warwickshire, is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to join as lunch cover. You will support children aged 3 months to 5 years with engaging, age-appropriate activities during midday hours.

You should hold a Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification, have a good understanding of the EYFS, and be committed to safeguarding. The role offers part-time hours across 20 hours weekly with a 63-place nursery rated for a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 2 or 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Safeguarding and child protection knowledge.
• Ability to develop trust and strong partnerships with colleagues and parents.

• Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities for key children.
• Provide a safe environment encouraging expression and a love of learning.
• Support development towards key milestones during lunch cover.

Salary – £13.50-£14.04 per hour (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

Hours – 20 Hours Per Week | 10:00-14:00 | Mon-Fri | Permanent

We’re looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join our Rugby Day Nursery as a lunch cover! This 63 place nursery based in a great location next to Rugby Train Station cares for children from 3 months to 5 years old! Its age based rooms are full of cosy reading corners, imagination stations, role play and fantastic resources with a beautiful outdoor space that children can access throughout the day!

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.
