Job summary

Five Education Recruitment Limited in Long Ashton, Bristol, is seeking a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join a friendly nursery team. This is a full-time role starting ASAP, mainly based in the Toddler Room with flexibility to work across age groups.

You will provide a safe, nurturing environment, plan engaging activities, observe progress and uphold safeguarding in line with EYFS. Level 3 qualification and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent recognised childcare qualification).
• Sound knowledge of the EYFS.
• Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.
• Experience in an early years setting.
• Positive, flexible and proactive approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for all children.
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that support learning and development.
• Build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Observe, assess and record children's progress in line with EYFS.
• Support emotional wellbeing, independence and social development.
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and childcare practice.
• Collaborate within a team and adapt to nursery needs.
