Job summary

Five Education is seeking a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner for a full-time role in Long Ashton, Bristol. You will primarily work in the Toddler Room, supporting children to learn, develop and thrive through engaging play and high-quality interactions.

This is a full-time position with an immediate start. A Level 3 EY qualification and EYFS knowledge are essential, with safeguarding and DBS requirements to be met.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent recognised childcare qualification).
• Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
• Experience working with children in an early years setting.
• A positive, flexible and proactive approach.

Join Our Friendly Early Years Team

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join a welcoming nursery setting in Long Ashton.

This is a full-time position with an immediate start. The successful candidate will primarily be based within our Toddler Room, supporting children to learn, develop and thrive through engaging play and high-quality interactions. However, flexibility is essential as you may be required to work across different age groups and rooms when needed.

You will be passionate about giving children the very best start in life and able to create warm, engaging learning experiences. Whilst your main base will be the Toddler Room, you'll be comfortable supporting across the nursery and adapting to changing daily needs.

Essential Criteria

• Able to work 5 days a week (term time only), Monday-Friday 8:30-15:30
• Right to work in the UK – we CANNOT accept sponsorship or a skilled worker visa
• Minimum two recent references, covering the last two years
• Up-to-date DBS/police check, or be willing to obtain one*
• Please note, if you do not have a Non-Voluntary Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, we will need to help you process a new one at a cost of £62.70. This will be refunded after 20 days of work with us.
